Danish esports organizer BLAST confirmed the official line-up of teams invited and eligible to participate in the upcoming BLAST Slam VI, a tier 1 tournament consisting of an online group stage and LAN playoffs.

BLAST Slam VI features a three-stage format: group stage, last-chance playoff and play-in round, and playoff round. The group stage consists of best-of-one round-robin matches, with the top 3-8 teams advancing to the play-in round. The top 2 teams will automatically take two spots for the semifinal round of the playoffs.

Teams that finish in ninth through 12th place will compete in a last-chance playoff for a spot in the play-in round. Only two of the four lower ranked teams will advance.

During the play-in round, each of the eight qualifying teams must win a best-of-three series against a specified opponent, determined by the group stage standings.

Unlike most Tier 1 Dota 2 tournaments, BLAST Slam VI features a single-elimination playoff bracket, so teams don’t have second chances.

The four teams that make it through the play-in round will compete in the quarterfinals, with the winners facing the top two teams from the group stage in the semifinals. In the final, the last two remaining teams will battle it out for a chance to win the tournament title. All playoff games are best-of-five.

The group stages, last chance playoffs and BLAST Slam VI matches will take place online from February 3 to February 8, 2026. The playoffs are scheduled from February 13 to February 15, 2026, at BLAST Arena Studios in Malta.
