Ojiro Fumoto (mop), award-winning creator Downhas announced that his girlfriend vertical platformer, sharp, will be launching soon on Android and iOS. This game was previously available exclusively through Netflix Games in the partnership with Devolver Digital before is being deleted from the platform. Now, the developer has just opened and closed registration for the upcoming closed beta test.

So, Poinpy is an adorable vertical-scrolling 2D platformer where you jump through vibrant stages, avoid adorable enemies, and keep feeding the hungry blue beast chasing behind you. To be honest, I’ve never had the chance to try this game before, so I was pretty excited to finally give it a try this time. Despite this, the developer confirmed that the relaunch will not include any new content.
Now, the gameplay is quite easy to play, allowing you to jump, flip and collect fruit using simple one-handed intuitive controls. As you climb through randomly generated areas, you’ll have to avoid unique creatures while collecting enough fruit to keep the beasts satisfied. I’m also looking forward to unlocking special abilities like Oktoberoubwhich attracts nearby fruit towards you, or Snail Hourwhich briefly stops time to help you set up your next jump.
Now, what makes Poinpy so fun is how it constantly rewards your progress with new challenges and new areas to explore. The higher you climb, the more interesting modes you unlock, such as tricky puzzle mode or Endless mode. Overall, I’m very happy to see Poinpy return, joining Netflix’s previous titles Carmen Sandiego, Monument Valley 3, Fallen Land 2and many more, which have also been successfully released again on mobile devices.
Poinpy will be launching again on Android and iOS soon. The developers held CBT recruitment on June 17, 2026, but quickly closed it after reaching the limited number of participants. If you manage to secure a spot, keep an eye on your Gmail, as selected players will soon receive an invitation link and instructions via the email address they provided on the registration form. A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google.
