The college football season is here, and EA SPORTS College Football Mobile 27 is celebrating with its new College Kickoff event. The event brings a Player Boost mechanic to Ultimate Team, along with daily Drills, Conference matchups, new player items, and special Gameday challenges tied to the opening weekend.
The event is currently live and will be running till September 4, 2026. Here’s everything you need to know about the College Kickoff event and the progression and rewards it is bringing. Player Boosts add a new way to build your lineup
The College Kickoff event introduces Player Boosts, which give you another way to improve your Ultimate Team lineup. When you add a 4-Star College Kickoff player to your lineup, they provide specific attribute boosts to other College Kickoff players in your team.
The system works differently with 5-Star players. Their attribute boosts apply to your entire team, including players from other events, base packs, or the market.
Complete Drills to collect College Kickoff Tokens
The Drills Map is where you can complete daily challenges during the event. Completing these Drills gives you College Kickoff Tokens, along with chances to pick up additional player drops.
You can then use the Tokens in the event’s Trades, exchanging lower-rarity items for better rewards and player additions. Make sure you check back regularly, as the event runs for just over a week and the Tokens will be needed for the available Trades.
Play Conference matchups for more rewards
The Conferences Map features matchups between some of the top college football programs. For each Conference, you can play both games to unlock its Conference Mashup Challenge.
The Mashup Challenges can be completed up to 10 times, giving you another way to collect rewards during the event. More Conferences and player content will also be added during the event, with new releases scheduled for August 25, August 29, and August 31.
Gameday Map goes live on August 29
The Gameday Map will open on August 29, coinciding with the first College Kickoff games of the 2026 season. The map includes special challenges based around the real-world college football games being played that day.
Some of these challenges will become available during key game broadcasts, so you will need to check back throughout the day to pick up the additional rewards.
College Kickoff player items
The event adds a new group of player items across 1-Star to 5-Star rarities. The player pool includes athletes from programs such as Georgia, Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State, Florida, Miami, BYU, Colorado, Indiana, UConn, and Louisiana Tech.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
