Gaimin Gladiators (GG), the team that dominated several tournaments in 2023 before disbanding in 2025, is reportedly planning to return to the Dota 2 scene with a new roster from South America.

In X’s post on January 12, Gaimin Gladiators posted something in Spanish, which roughly translates to “announcement coming soon.” A few days later, rumors began circulating online about the team’s alleged roster.

Due to internal conflicts, Gaimin Gladiators took the difficult decision to disband their team ahead of The International 2025 due to internal conflicts, especially between players and organizational leadership.

The team’s original lineup featured players who are now considered the greatest players of all time in their respective roles, having won every major tournament in 2023. However, they fell short of Aegis at The International 2024, finishing in second place after losing to Team Spirit.

Several months after the team’s disbandment, reports mentioned the following players who would participate in the 2026 tournament under the GG banner:

The rumored new roster is expected to come from Perú Rejects, a team that found early success after winning the South American qualifier for DreamLeague Season 28. Two Peruvian players, Parker and Scofield, already have Tier 1 titles to their names after winning PGL Wallachia Season 2 while playing for HEROIC.
