Fantasy Tower from Perfect World Game found himself in a funny turn of events, as the game’s latest event page was apparently hacked, at which point the mysterious person began promoting another until title. This occurs during browser-based events where players must upload images and vote for other players.
The incident occurred via a browser-based event, where an image depicted cute stickers and promotional messages for rival titles, Wuthering Wave And Zenless Zero Zone. And, I personally think, it’s very funny and not harmful at all. But this isn’t the first time something like this has happened to a gacha title, as last year, Blue Archives had a viral moment with Coyukification Incident.
Interestingly, the person behind this incident was mentioned by fans kebabman left a message, “I’m not hacking the database (appearance) like the R6 crash, this is just basic resource injection.” And along with that, he told players to download and play ZZZ and WW while also sharing their official sites.
Plus, some fans pointed out that this situation doesn’t even qualify as hacking, with one fan explaining, “it’s from a voting event that asks you to upload a picture of your character so other people can vote, ” and another said, “If you can upload images to the internet, you can do that too.Actually, it’s more of an inside joke.
In fact, even the developers knew about him as one fan revealed, but “they let him run around as long as he doesn’t try to do anything bad.While this may look funny and not even be considered a hack by some, I believe these event pages should have better regulations and security.
