2025 is a tough year for many Dota 2 teams, and AVOLUS is no exception. With multiple roster changes and no results in sight, the team struggled to keep their head above water. Although they were initially looking forward to a strong end to the year with DreamLeague Season 27, the team would withdraw from the event on November 10. In their post confirming the recall, AVOLUS stated that they will have more information about their upcoming Dota 2 in due course.

Now, just a few days later, the team no longer exists because the players were let go.

Just days after coming off the DL due to being unable to field a full roster, AVOLUS took to their social media to make the announcement. Even though it has five players on its roster, AVULUS has confirmed that it will release its Dota 2 team.

While not a single player has been confirmed to join any new teams, the post-TI Shuffle is still ongoing. In the coming weeks, as rosters are confirmed for a number of tournaments, we could see these changes.

Currently, AVULUS has not confirmed whether they will bring in a new roster. It remains to be seen whether they have some players ready for the 2026 season or whether they will remain in the shadows for a short time.
