Point N’ Sheep has announced that its retro-inspired 2D action–adventure title, Bloodless, is set to launch on Android on September 2, 2026. The mobile release will also include the free Trials of Namazu update, bringing a new Roguelike mode, additional art, difficulty options, and more. The indie game is now available for pre-registration with no details yet for iOS.
Get ready to fight without taking a life in Bloodless
So, Bloodless puts a different spin on samurai combat by making non-lethal fighting its biggest feature. Here, you play as Tomoe, a wandering Ronin who has left her violent past behind and returned to her ruined homeland of Bakugawa, only to find herself facing the army of her former master, Shogun Akechi.
Rather than picking up a blade and cutting through enemies, you’ll rely on your bare fists, precise counters, and Ki-based attacks to disarm your former allies. The combat is built around rhythm and timing, letting you turn enemy attacks against them while using different Ki techniques, combo variations, Crests, and herb infusions to shape your fighting style.
And the Trials of Namazu update adds another challenge as you venture onto a mysterious island that constantly shifts around you. Guided by ancient gods, you must battle waves of corruption and eventually face The Slasher, a terrifying manifestation of the violent past Tomoe had to leave behind.
Overall, the game is actually super fun thanks to its counter-based, non-lethal combat, striking environments, an emotional storyline, responsive touch control optimized for mobile, full controller support, and even an Assist Mode.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google.
