eFootball 2027 is bringing back some serious nostalgia with a new Nigeria Epic lineup featuring three iconic names from the country’s footballing history. The pack brings Jay-Jay Okocha and Tijani Babangida as Epic debuts, while Nwankwo Kanu returns with another Epic version.
Okocha and Babangida are the real talking points here, especially for players who have been waiting to see these Nigerian legends get their first Epic cards in the game. But once you look past the names, how good are these versions actually going to be in eFootball 2027?
Here’s my early look at Jay-Jay Okocha, Tijani Babangida, and Nwankwo Kanu, including their roles, progression builds, skills, and whether this Nigeria Epic pack is worth your Coins.
Jay-Jay Okocha
Okocha is easily the most enjoyable card here if you like doing the work yourself on the ball. The dribbling, tight possession, and ridiculous balance make him very comfortable to control, and I actually don’t mind the borderline 90 pace at all for a Creative Playmaker.
The slightly frustrating part is the skill setup. I know, this is surprising, but hear me out. Having three Show Time skills means some of the basic skills I would normally want aren’t there from the start. I added One Touch Pass and Through Passing, and I think those are almost essential if you want to get the best out of him.
His passing is already very good, and once you add those skills, he becomes much more useful in those quick pass-and-move sequences around the box. I also like the finishing more than I expected.
The problem is that the standards have moved quite a bit in eFootball 2027. An Okocha with this profile would have been fantastic in eFootball 2026, but here he feels more like a very enjoyable Epic rather than a must-have one. If you like dribblers, though, there is plenty to enjoy, as he is really fun to use.

Nwankwo Kanu
- Position: CF
- Attacking Playing Style: Deep-Lying Forward
- Defensive Playing Style: Front Line Poacher
- Show Time Skills: Phenomenal Finishing, Bullet Header
Kanu is a very different type of striker, and his 196 cm height is obviously going to be the first thing you notice. He is enormous, but thankfully KONAMI hasn’t made him one-dimensional. There is enough ball control, dribbling, and finishing here for him to do more.
The combination of Bullet Header and Phenomenal Finishing is important. I can understand the Ibra comparisons because he has a similar idea behind the card, but he missed out on the Goal Poacher style to be competing with a FITB Ibra. He isn’t the quickest striker around, but once he gets into a good position, his size becomes a real problem.
I’d say Kanu has his own niche. The numbers aren’t exactly going to make him look like the most meta CF in the game, but the player model gives him something you can’t really recreate with a smaller striker.

Tijani Babangida
- Position: RWF
- Attacking Playing Style: Prolific Winger
- Defensive Playing Style: Front Line Pressure
- Show Time Skills: Acceleration Burst, Attacking Surge
Babangida is basically the speed merchant of this pack. The card already has ridiculous pace, and then the Speed +6 booster takes it even further. You don’t need much imagination to understand what he is going to be used for: get him into space and let him run.
Attacking Surge on the card is his biggest weapon. Already, those explosive forward runs are going to be even stronger. When you combine that movement with his pace, he can stretch a defensive line very quickly and give you an option that some defenders simply won’t be able to match.
The rest of the profile is much more average, though. His dribbling is usable, the finishing is fine, and the stamina is good enough. One-dimensional would be apt and not be harsh, and even though you cut his pace and distribute it to the other stats, I don’t think that’s worth the gamble. But hey, we should have cards that let us exploit a player’s top skill.

I’m strict when it comes to reviews; leaving aside nostalgia, I don’t see anything good with these packs. Okocha is a really superb card that performs better than the stats; the other two don’t.
If you really want an Epic card to bring a massive change, this is not the pack to splurge your coins on, and do it for the Italy pack. If you are a fan of the players, you know what to do.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
