super cells has officially revealed the major development shakeup that will occur in Clash Royale This update will be available on May 26, 2026. This update introduces Collection Levels, removes the King’s Journey completely, and reworks the Mastery to make progress feel smoother and more rewarding overall.
Along with this, Supercell also confirmed that new game modes, Evolution, Hero, and the return of CHAOS Mode are planned in the coming months. Let’s see everything in detail about what will happen.
Clash Royale May 2026 Update: All updates and changes explained
King’s Journey says goodbye as the Collection Level arrives
The biggest change in this update is the removal of King’s Journey. Currently, progress relies heavily on XP, but the system becomes confusing as time goes on. You upgrade cards, gain XP differently depending on their rarity, and sometimes unlock rewards that don’t even help the deck you’re actually using.
Supercell basically admitted that the system had become difficult to track and no longer felt satisfying. Its replacement is a new Collection Level system. Instead of XP, your progress is now tied directly to your entire card collection. Here’s how to calculate your Collection Rate:
| Action | Increased Collection Rate |
|---|---|
| Unlock the card | Based on rarity |
| Improve cards | +1 Level |
| Unlocking Evolution | +5 Levels |
| Unlocks the Hero form | +5 Levels |
So basically, if you upgrade a card, your Collection Level will go up. While unlocking higher rarity cards will initially grant more Collection Levels, each upgrade always adds +1, no matter what rarity you unlock.
Milestones and awards become easier to follow
This update also changes the way rewards are distributed. Instead of XP progress feeling random, rewards now come from achieving Collection Tiers.
You unlock your first reward at Collection Level 20, then continue earning rewards every 10 levels. Once you get past Collection Level 1500, the rewards become more frequent and appear every 5 levels.
Supercell also confirmed that when the update rolls out, you’ll automatically receive Collection Levels based on your current account progress, along with celebratory rewards depending on where you land.
King’s Tower upgrades now work differently
The development of King Tower has also changed. Instead of earning XP to increase your King’s Tower Level, it now depends on how many cards you upgrade to a certain level. The important thing is that your King’s Tower Level will never drop because of this transition. It either stays the same or increases automatically.
Progression-related features have also been unlocked early. Things like Pass Royale and Clans will no longer depend on the progression of the King’s Tower and will be unlocked through the Arena. XP itself is also completely removed.
card upgrade, Teacherand clan donations will no longer grant XP after the update. To understand this better, you can check out the old and new King’s Tower requirements here.

Card Mastery becomes easier
Card Mastery is also getting a full rebalance. Tasks on most cards are significantly reduced, making them easier to complete than before.
For example, if you’ve already completed a task and your current progress meets new requirements, the game will automatically mark it complete once the update arrives. Otherwise, your progress will continue, meaning you’re still closer to completing it than before.

The rewards also change. Gems and Wild Cards are diverted from Master and moved to the Collection Level achievement. Masteries itself will now focus more on Gold rewards to help fund upgrades.
The overall distribution of prizes has changed
Reflecting all the changes that have occurred, we have some changes to the rewards we will earn.

While the new progression changes significantly increase rewards like Gold, Gems, Wild Cards, and Evolution Shards, some areas do experience significant impacts. We’ll be receiving more Common and Rare Wild Cards overall, as well as a big increase in Legendary and Champion Wild Cards.
However, the number of Random Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Champion Cards has been reduced compared to the old system.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
